September is National Recovery Month

Date: September 05, 2023

September is National Recovery Month, a time marked to celebrate gains made by those in substance use recovery and remind us to continually support those still struggling. The Chickasaw Nation offers many resources to support those on their recovery journey.

Recovery and restoration services help connect those seeking to overcome substance use issues with resources and support. Chickasaw citizens, First Americans and Chickasaw Nation employees are eligible for these services.

Behavioral health services provides mental health crisis intervention for individuals of any age in addition to family support. Emergency crisis services are provided as needed, including after-hours and holidays, at the Chickasaw Nation Medical Center. Services are available to Chickasaw citizens and First Americans who are patients of the Chickasaw Nation Department of Health.
