30% Tuition Discount at MACU Available to Chickasaw Students and Chickasaw Nation Employees

Date: February 12, 2024

In an exciting collaboration with Mid-America Christian University (MACU), the university is offering additional financial support for tribal citizens and Chickasaw Nation employees pursuing higher education. This partnership offers Chickasaw students and current Chickasaw Nation employees a 30% tuition discount and waived student fees for both campus and online courses.

The program includes bachelor’s and master’s programs, and may provide college credit for nontraditional learning experiences. This collaborative effort is a testament to the shared commitment of the Chickasaw Nation’s Department of Education and MACU to advance education opportunities within the community.

The Chickasaw Nation Recruitment and Retention Program is currently active on the MACU campus and six other Oklahoma campuses, offering monthly events, educational resources and peer mentorship to foster a strong sense of community and cultural identity among Chickasaw college students.
