Sculpting for Bronze with Patsy Lane

Event Details:

The Chickasaw Nation Arts & Humanities Division will host a sculpting class with award winning artist, Patsy Lane, from 9 a.m.-4 p.m., Aug. 15-17 at the arts and humanities building in Ada.

Students will learn new and exciting methods on how to sculpt clay to prepare for bronze casting.

Classes are open to the public. Participants must be 16 years and older to attend. Tuition cost is $150 with a $75 non-refundable deposit due upon enrollment.

Tuition is waived for Chickasaw citizens. All materials are covered with the cost of tuition.

Lane resides in Konawa, Oklahoma, and has participated in numerous art shows both locally and nationally. She was featured on the OETA (PBS) show Gallery. She is a member of the Oklahoma Sculpture Society and Holdenville Society of Painters and Sculptors.
