Open to students ages eight to 11 and 12 to 18 Ada Tennis Center, Ada, Oklahoma
The goal of this clinic is to provide Native American youth the opportunity to learn the sport of tennis. Tennis is a sport that can be played and enjoyed by all generations of the family.
All participants will be provided the necessary tools needed to build a lasting foundation for the sport of tennis. In this clinic, the participants will learn honor, integrity, sportsmanship and teamwork through the lessons of the instructors.
The intermediate clinic is designed for the participants to experience the game of tennis through a live atmosphere. They will learn doubles strategy and point structure, all of the strokes in depth, and numerous drills in order to improve the participant's level of play. The intermediate clinic is for participants who already have the basic knowledge of tennis and who want to further improve their skills. If needed, transportation will be provided from Purcell, Ardmore, Tishomingo and Davis.
2010 Camp Dates:
- June 14-17, 8 a.m. to noon, ages 8-11
- June 21-24, 8 a.m. to noon, ages 12-18
