2009 Chickasaw Nation winter baseball camp. The camp took place at Ardmore High School. Best campers this year went to Austin Lambert of Coalgate and Ryan Stewart from Lone Grove.

Attractions of historical interest abound, including the original Chickasaw National Capitol Building (which is currently undergoing an extensive restoration program), the restored Chickasaw National Bank and the Chickasaw Nation's Council House Museum, all located in Tishomingo. The Burney Institute and the Lebanon School for Girls (tribal schools circa 1860) are also located nearby.
Other attractions include the Chickasaw National Recreation Area (part of the National Park Service and the only national park in the state), Arbuckle Wilderness (a drive-through animal preserve with exotic animals from around the world), the Arbuckle Mountains, municipal parks and annual celebrations in various communities.
