Chickasaw veterans, or their next of kin, can access outreach services and assistance with navigating benefits and services from Veterans Affairs and other veterans’ organizations.

Applicants must be a Chickasaw citizen and a veteran or currently serving in the military, or their next of kin.

Eligibility
  • Be a Chickasaw citizen
  • Must be a veteran or currently serving in the military (Active duty, National Guard or Reserve)
  • Be next of kin to a veteran
You Provide
  • Copy of CDIB and Chickasaw tribal citizenship
  • And one of the following:
    • Copy of DD214 or NGB22
    • Copy of state-issued driver’s license with veterans logo

Program Details

Chickasaw Nation Veterans Services provides assistance to Chickasaw veterans or their next of kin. This program provides outreach services and assists with the acquisition of veterans' benefits and services from Veterans Affairs and other veterans organizations.

Veterans may qualify for benefits in peacetime and wartime and do not need military health records to file claims.

The program offers a specially-designed jacket exclusively to Chickasaw veterans. Applicants must be a Chickasaw citizen, veteran and a first-time recipient of a Chickasaw veteran jacket.

This program allows Chickasaw veterans to receive up to $50 for reimbursement of costs for a single U.S. car tag, including specialty tags. Applicants must be a Chickasaw citizen, veteran and live in the United States.
