Program Details

The Holisso Research Center is a clearinghouse for study, scholarship and research of Chickasaws and Southeastern tribes. The center is located on the Chickasaw Cultural Center campus in Sulphur, Okla. For complete information about the center, visit the Holisso Research Center.

The Research Center also houses genealogy and photography archives. Items can be donated for archiving purposes. Donor forms can be mailed upon request or filled out at the time of donation.

Genealogy Archive Center

The Research Center offers the Dawes rolls, Muster roll, annuity rolls, federal census records, historical records, cemetery records, government records and family files. Photograph Archives

This department offers historical to present-day photographs, documents and records. The photograph archives are available to the public. For more information, please call or visit the Research Center, or you can email archives@chickasaw.net.
