This program helps Chickasaw citizens who have been injured or seriously ill understand their treatment options. Specialized nurses and social workers will advocate for patients, educate citizens about available resources, facilitate and attend appointments and more.

Applicants must be a Chickasaw citizen.

Program Details

This program helps Chickasaw citizens who have been injured or seriously ill understand their treatment options. Specialized nurses and social workers will advocate for patients, educate citizens about available resources, facilitate and attend appointments and more. Access the information needed to make informed decisions with the case management program. Staff are able to help by:

  • Advocating for patients
  • Educating about available resources
  • Facilitating and attending appointments
  • Serving as liaisons between Chickasaw Nation departments, local agencies, service units, private and public health care facilities
  • Evaluating insurance resources to coordinate benefits
  • Following up on customer service issues
  • Preparing paperwork for tribal health programs
