​Hunter Education Classes to be offered by the Chickasaw Nation

The Chickasaw Nation Youth Services will host a Hunter Safety Education course 8 a.m.-5 p.m., Sept. 22 at Youth and Family Teleconference Center, 231 Seabrook Road, in Ada.

This course will teach students the importance of firearm safety and proper use of firearms while participating in hunting or other marksmanship activities.

At the end of instruction students will test to receive an Oklahoma Hunter Education Certification, which allows outdoorsmen to legally hunt game in the state of Oklahoma.

Chickasaw youth ages 10 and older are eligible to apply. Study materials and lunch will be provided.
